Best Buy has now begun bundling the HTC Scribe pen accessory for the HTC Flyer without a premium. Initially, the pen was sold separately for $80 and now it's included in the 16GB Wi-Fi tablet's $500 price tag. Other markets, such as Europe, included the pen with the tablet from the start,laptop battery though the overall average price was higher.
No reason for the freebie is given, though it may have something to do with the tablet's sales record and the maker's Panasonic vw-vbg130 battery and retailer's attempts to jumpstart it. Whether this is a limited-time promotion isn't known, but unlikely.

Longer-term schedules have also suggested that the seven-inch Opal tablet has been narrowed down more definitively to a fall release. The slate should be a close cousin of the 9.7-inch TouchPad with a similar resolution and possibly elements like the processor and storage. The same presentation also points to HP shipping at least the American version of the Pre3 in the fall.Its new flagship webOS phone has been widely pegged as arriving in some countries by mid-July and may indicate that American carriers are taking a long time to get the Pre3 approved.
